True Count Not Thread Count
We believe in quality of thread over quantity. One of the biggest myths is that a higher thread count equals better quality.Â
Thread count is just a measure of how many threads (vertical & horizontal) are in one square inch of fabric.
When it comes to cotton, anything above 300 to 400 TC could mean 2 things: either thinner yarns are used to fill in the space or 2 or more yarns are twisted together to create multi-ply threads. Both these mean, inferior quality.Â
Why Long Staple Cotton & Single-ply Yarn?
Multi-ply yarns are a group of weaker fibers twisted together to create a false sense of strength and artificially inflate the thread count and mask poor quality.Â
The longer a cotton fiber the softer the fabric it creates. The fewer yarns are twisted together the stronger it gets.Â
Single-ply yarn spun from long staple cotton results in finer, breathable, and extremely long-lasting sheets.

What is this product made of?
All U’Linen bedding is made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton with long-staple single-ply yarn. The fabrics are soft, breathable, durable, and free from harmful chemicals. All products are OEKO-TEX & GOTS certified.
What sizes are available, and how do I choose the right one?
Sheets & duvet covers: Queen, King, Super King.
Fitted sheets: Fit standard and deep mattresses (up to 38 cm).
Pillowcases: Standard sizes (check product page for details).
Use the size guide on the product page to ensure a proper fit.
Will the product shrink, fade, or lose softness after washing?
All items are pre-washed to minimize shrinkage. With proper care—gentle wash, mild detergent, low-heat tumble or line dry—the bedding remains soft, durable, and vibrant. Pillowcases and sheets get softer with each wash.
Note: Since we use corrugated boxes for shipping, your sheets may have a temporary packaging smell. This is normal and harmless. Simply wash before first use to remove the odor and enjoy the fresh softness of your sheets.
Is this product comfortable and suitable for all seasons?
Yes. The long-staple cotton, 300 thread count, and breathable weave provide soft, smooth, year-round comfort. The duvet cover’s sateen weave also helps regulate temperature for warm sleepers.
How should I care for this product?
Wash in lukewarm water with like colours on a gentle cycle.
Avoid bleach.
Tumble dry low or line dry.
Iron on medium heat if needed. Proper care ensures softness and longevity.
